Terms of Use

Agreement
By downloading or using YOSS (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms of Use apply in addition to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where both apply, the more restrictive rule governs to the extent permitted by law.
What YOSS is
YOSS helps you understand daily energy, water balance, and readiness through a YOSS Score and related on-device insights. It is a lifestyle awareness app — not a medical device and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
License
Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use YOSS on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use.
The license is for your own personal lifestyle awareness only. It does not include any right to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or create derivative works of the app. Public display is limited to sharing your own cards through the in-app share sheet, as described below.
No other license is granted. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Ownership and intellectual property
YOSS and all related materials remain our property (and our licensors’ property). This includes, without limitation:
the software, its structure, and its implementation
visual design, layout, motion, icons, and information architecture
product copy, locked brand lines, and naming — including YOSS, YOSS Score, YOSS State, YOSS Core, YOSS Today, and YOSS Life Book
documentation and the public “How YOSS works” explainer as a copyrighted text
Using YOSS does not transfer any intellectual property to you. You may not use our names, marks, or distinctive presentation in a way that suggests affiliation or that would confuse people about the source of a product.
You may share your own YOSS Score / state cards through the in-app share sheet for personal communication. You may not extract or reuse the design system, layout, typography, copy templates, or information architecture to build or assist a competing product.
Proprietary methods
Scoring, Core balances, Focus Signal selection, prediction, causal interpretation, coefficient sets, Pattern observations, action ranking, and the personal Digital Twin / model methods — as implemented in YOSS — are proprietary.
The public “How YOSS works” page is a high-level product explainer. It is not a specification license and does not authorize reconstruction of the implementation.
You may not extract, reconstruct, publish, or commercially use internal methods, unpublished weights, raw engine indices, or other non-public mechanics.
Subscriptions
YOSS may offer auto-renewable Pro subscriptions purchased through Apple.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via Manage Subscription in the app when available.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable under Apple’s rules.
Prices and trial availability are shown in the app before purchase and are controlled by Apple’s App Store.
Your data
Events, score history, and settings are stored on your device. See the Privacy Policy in the app for details. Your records remain yours. The methods that interpret them remain ours.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
misuse the app or use it for unlawful purposes
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or underlying methods, except to the extent that mandatory law allows (for example, interoperability)
intercept, hook, instrument, or analyze the app or its traffic in order to reconstruct methods
scrape or automatically extract screens, copy, or outputs in order to reconstruct the product
use YOSS to train, calibrate, benchmark, or evaluate a competing model, app, or service
clone or closely imitate the UX, visual system, information architecture, or brand positioning of YOSS for a competing product
remove or obscure proprietary notices
These limits do not stop you from independently creating a lifestyle app without using YOSS as a source. They do stop you from using YOSS itself as a blueprint.
Feedback
If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
Disclaimer
YOSS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Insights and suggestions are informational and intended for general lifestyle awareness only.
Changes
We may update these terms and publish the revised version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Survival and mandatory law
License limits, ownership, proprietary methods, acceptable use, feedback, and this disclaimer survive the end of your license.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, including any non-waivable reverse-engineering right.
