How YOSS works
Last updated: August 14, 2026
One number, one reason, one action
YOSS shows your daily readiness as one YOSS Score, names the balance that limits it most right now, and offers one next action. The rest of the app exists to keep those three honest. YOSS does not diagnose, promise an outcome, or require a watch, ring, or band.
Scale
Most strong days fall between 70 and 85.
Four balances
YOSS Score combines four YOSS Core balances:
Higher Calm is better — it is load resilience, not a stress level.
Your usual level
After about two weeks, YOSS can show your usual level — a personal reference for whether today’s score is high or low for you. It is a description, not a goal.
What YOSS notices
YOSS Pattern observations move through four stages: Testing, Forming, Confirmed, and Not supported. Not supported observations are shown too — the app does not hide checks that did not hold.
Data
YOSS runs on iPhone; a watch, ring, or band is not required.
With permission, YOSS may read six Apple Health types on your device only: step count, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, body mass, sleep analysis, and date of birth. YOSS does not write to Apple Health.
Your records stay on your device. There is no account to sign into.
When you change phones, history does not move by itself — export your data first, then import it on the new device.
